PM-KUSUM (Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan) Component A aims to set up 10,000 MW of decentralized grid-connected renewable power plants up to 2 MW capacity. Scheme Objectives: - Promote solar power generation for agricultural feeders - Reduce dependency on diesel generators - Provide additional income to farmers through surplus power sale - Support renewable energy capacity addition Financial Support: - 30% Central Financial Assistance - 30% State contribution - 40% beneficiary contribution (can be through loan)
